I have a tiny gut that I jokingly say looks more like I've had too many beers. I been feeling these pulling sensations, which my fancy-baby-tracking-apps tell me is the uterus rising. Apparently there are tendons connected to the uterus and as it rises, they're being stretched. It's a weird feeling. Basically if I stand up too fast, cough, or sneeze then I really feel it. It's a strange one.
I want the typical pregnancy bump and feelings. I'm ready for a real 'belly' and not just a gut. :) I don't know if friends and Steven are just being nice, but they say the gut isn't obvious. So, right now I just feel fat.
I also don't know what to do. I want to be planning and prepping the nursery. My super controlling/planner self can't take it much longer. We are trying to get some things done around the house, that will be much harder with a newborn around. But, as soon as I know boy or girl, it will be planning time. :)
Of course I also need to focus on my last two semesters of Meteorology school. I'm so excited to get my degree, and I know it will mean big things for my future. Hopefully sooner, rather than later. It's a 3-year online program, but I'm doing it in 2 years. BUT, that means I'm a full-time student, full-time job, and preparing for our first baby.
I know it will all be worth it though. I'll have the baby, then a few weeks later take my final-comprehensive test, and then no more school. That also means within a month I'll add two titles, Mommy and Meteorologist. What more could a girl ask for!?!
First, round ligament pain sucks! You'll continue to feel that stretching feeling into your third trimester. Second, think of that gut as extra padding your body is putting on to protect that sweet little baby. It's a stage that definitely isn't fun but it will soon be over. Love you! Love your blog!
